Yamaha is pleased to introduce the MT-07LA, a model specifically designed for the Australian market.

The 655cc parallel twin has been purpose built in Japan to suit our learner market requirements and now comes standard with ABS braking. With heaps of instant torque and the same class leading light weight as the much heralded European MT-07, the Aussie LAMs version is designed to appeal to experts and new riders alike.

MT-07LA is the lightest motorcycle in its class, has the most torque, has the best power to weight ratio and is the most fuel efficient. With its high levels of excitement and easy handling nature, MT-07LA is an incredible package offering exceptional value for money, making it an attractive proposition for anyone looking to capture the essence of motorcycling.

What gives the MT-07LA such a special character is its all-new 655cc inline 2-cylinder engine which has been developed using Yamaha's'crossplane philosophy'. With an uneven firing interval, the 270-degree crank gives a strong feeling of acceleration and great traction, and the deep linear torque ensures outstanding performance.

For easy manoeuvrability and remarkable agility, the MT-07LA runs with a light and slim steel backbone-type frame that utilizes the engine as a stressed member. Combined with its compact wheelbase and plush suspension systems, this strong and light chassis gives a responsive and engaging ride.

The MT-07LA is characterised by its mass-forward design that emphasises its athletic build and creates an immediate feeling of power. The slim fuel tank accentuates the bike's compact looks and offers excellent knee grip - while the lightweight air scoops and aluminium side covers give the MT a sporty and purposeful image.

All new lightweight, compact, full digital LCD instrument panel provides a modern, high quality appearance with all information available at a glance.

Cowra Motorcycles is owned and operated by Lyndsay Cain. We cater mostly for the needs of the ‘Man on the Land’. Lyndsay has been in this industry for all of his working life, so there is very little he does not know in relation to the motorbikes, atv and many other products we sell and service. We pride ourselves on our on-farm demonstration service; which is ‘try before you buy’ as we would not expect you to buy something you didn’t know about. You can find us at the Murrumbateman, Nowra and Orange Field Days.
